“Dropped in for Sunday lunch. We had not booked and had our pet springer spaniel with us. The pub was very busy but the landlady made us very welcome. Meals came out in very good time on piping hot plates. The roasts were all you could ask for from a home cooked roast. Portion size was very good, everything well cooked. Deserts home made and to die for. All in all a very positive experience for the four of us in the party. Harley the springer loved his visit too.”

“We came for a meal and didn't stay. There were six of us for Sunday lunch, they offer a traditional roast, with either beef, lamb or chicken, they also offer a nut roast which my wife said was delicious. I had a mixed meat roast. All the ingredients were really good quality and the food was cooked to perfection. Although, it was busy, the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely well worth a visit.”
