I went into Tesco extra cafe at about 2.15 pm today. Having been waiting for about ten minutes in a queue at the cafe counter waiting while the man behind the counter served a group of people with coffees cakes etc, I then ordered a meal only to be told that all cooked food was sold out, if this is the case why keep me waiting for ten minutes, when all they have to do is put a notice on the food board menu which is at the entrance of the cafe.

Food took 1 hour I was on a time limit and it was simple orders like a toastie and breakfast, they said it would take 15 minutes

It was just minutes after 5pm, their closing time and didn't we know it! cleaning staff standing and staring at us with angry face, spray and cloth in hand! Nice bit of intimidation to get us out! They shouldn't be treating paying customers like this.

Went in for Breakfast, for the little amount you get they half charge and arm & a leg. normal breakfast was £5.75 for 1 piece of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 2 hash browns, 1 slice of toast a some beans. places like Weatherspoon's for that price you get double that.service wasn't great, old lady behind the counter was miserable. We asked to add extras to our breakfast (at £1.25 a piece!) and she huffed under her breath because she didn't really understand how to work the till so she had to place our order onto the till then run into the kitchen to amend our order.

A very nice experience. The young chap serving us was very lovely and polite. Armand was his name. Give him a raise.

Tesco's newly refurbished cafe is light, spacious and well designed. I was met with a huge smile and warm greeting by Heidi. I sat at a table not too far from the counter and all I could hear was Heidi's upbeat tempo as she greeted each customer with professionalism, courtesy and warmth. I feel Heidi is an asset to Tesco and should be recognised as such.

Staff have no consideration for customers, leave you standing at the till waiting to order while they clean tables, anything you ask seems to be too much and not very friendly in the slightest. Staff avoid eye contact with you and seem to have an attitude before you’ve even spoken to them. Food is average, nothing to rave about. Would avoid like the plague if ever in the area again, this cafe has really let tesco down!

Very sad to visit this cafe when clearly the staff have no regard for customers! Twenty past four we were told that we could only have a drink in a takeaway cup as they were closing( @5:00). Cake all covered over. As we were sat the table, the manager( poor description as he clearly had no management skills) hovered around with cleaning spray and cloth! Very poor service we won't be going here ever again. Shame as this was always a stop when shopping! Very rudely he told us," you get more coffee in a takeaway cup" when I questioned the reasoning for takeaway cup to justify it

It would be hard to find another cafe that had gone down hill so fast. New manager Chris completely useless and not a clue of what customers want, and seems like no desire to carry on the work of the previous manager who made it a very pleasant place to visit which had lovely staff. You go in now and the place is like as if it's closing down. Very rare to find someone behind the counter... someone comes eventually... if you're lucky.. on a good day.. No sandwiches available or anything on the counter, and will not do you a toasted sandwich 'if the breakfast menu is running'. One day we were told no fried eggs, but you can have scrambled. Ahhh it must be different eggs for fried then I reckon. But it turns out the griddle was knackered. No frying pan then chaps? About 50 feet away on the same floor you can buy a frying pan for next to nothing if you really wanted to keep customers happy. We did get scrambled egg though, and it would have been fine if you were making a rubber arena for horses. Had to visit the store today so being brave we've chanced it again.. no better though. Wait to be served. Place like a ghost town. Food not hot enough. Cheap crappy sausages. Generous on the butter though so I'll give you half a point! Bradley nice enough but the burning question is... WHERE ARE ALL THE FRIENDLY LADIES GONE??!! Given the push for this modern side the customer approach? Or legged it fast when they saw what a crap set up it was set to become? Whatever the reason, well done for ruining the great friendly atmosphere. You haven't got what it takes!!

After waiting 45 minutes for 2 sausage baps .Couldn’t wait any longer told the manager we would return next day for them.upon returning next day the manager (Chris) attitude was I will let you have the baps this time but will not let it happen again.Even though we had the reciept. This man tried to show us up in front of other customers He lacks public relations and needs a lesson in manners. we asked for our money back.Which he refunded. After this we walked out. We use to be regular customers there and spent in excess of £15.00 per visit but will not be going again. Sad person
