Sorry, but we have just had two takeaway pizzas and they were very soggy and greasy. Also undercooked. Its a shame we didn't eat in the restaurant as all those reviews were great.

Service was fast and all waiting staff were polite and helpful. There were two members of the table with dietary requirements which can make eating out difficult and awkward but the staff here were nothing but helpful and accommodating. I had a pizza which is usually a no go due to being lactose and gluten intolerant - it was by far the best dairy and gluten free pizza I have EVER had. The pizza I ordered had chorizo which contained milk, the chef picked up on this and this was brought to our attention quickly. The chips were also exceptional - fantastic flavour and crunchy. Wish I'd taken photos but we were too keen to eat the delicious food that we'd been able to smell from the moment we went in. We travelled from Newport in South Wales and will definitely stop by if we visit again! Exceptional service and food.

On a wet windy night in December we opened the door to a warm, vibrant pizza, steak and burger restaurant. The flavours were amazing and I was impressed by the most delicious gluten free pizza I have ever tasted (usually they are horrible, but I couldn’t taste the difference). Wine selection was good too and service was very attentive, not too rushed but there if we needed it. A real gem in Appledores crown. Well done on an amazing family business xx

The most EPIC pizzas and amazing for gluten free - if you have coeliac disease they take cross contamination seriously and the staff are super helpful. Plus the pizzas are HUGE! Great atmosphere, I just love it here!!Dietary restrictions: Perfect for gluten free (lots of vegan options too)

Flame Factory is always on our must visit list when in Appledore. Visited a couple of weeks ago and as usual received a very warm welcome, the food was excellent as always. I fully recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting North Devon.
