A good pub stopped her for a quick bite to eat . The staff were super friendly.Parking: Park your car I think with notifying the pub with your licence plate number.

The atmosphere was second to none with a real buzz about the place and live music (shanty band) playing. The starters were unreal with the Manchego fries and the pork belly scratchings being a highlight. The main was a slight let down with the burger being a little dry for me and my wife but overall really good and would go again. In summer it has a lovely terrace overlooking the water.

We took refuge on a cold, rainy day at The Beaver Inn. What a delightful discovery. The food was delicious. We tried the soup of the day which was a roasted capsicum (full of flavor and served with a really good baguette). Then had fish pie (scrumptious) and finished with sticky toffee pudding (yum). Friendly pub. They showcase local produce.

We visited three times during a recent stay in Appledore. The food, service and atmosphere are great and the view from the restaurant fantastic. Proper pub food done very well, and the St Valentines night dinner was exceptional.

This was the nicest pub we went to on our North Devon break. The staff were lovely, great vibe in the pub with a spectacular view too. The portions are maybe a little small but the food is affordable and the quality amazing. The vegetarian sausages are the best I've had.

A warm welcome to this cosy pub, followed by an excellent value for money meal for all four of us. Lovely desserts followed by hot drinks and a cheerful farewell.

Very friendly and helpful service. We had the fish chowder which was a bit bland and uninteresting.

Simply outstanding. Great little pub and restaurant with proper local atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was first class. I’d normally take some photos but couldn’t stop once I’d started. Would DEFINITELY return and recommend.
