My husband and I visited the pub with our baby today following a walk at the reservoir. It was a relatively quiet day and we were able to have a table in the window over looking the beautiful view. The service was really friendly and we had some great food. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others.

This dog friendly pub serves a fantastic Sunday lunch. choice of roast meat plenty of seasonal vegetables roasties and accompanying sauces. Nice to have the cauliflower cheese in a separate dish. Staff are polite and friendly without being intrusive. Great views from the restaurant .

Welcoming friendly village pub. Was a short walk from a nearby campsite so visited a couple of times. Good selections of beers, and enjoyed a really good Sunday roast at what I thought was a really decent price. Lovely views over Dartmoor from the rear of the pub.
Small friendly 'local pub with stunning views over the Teign Valley at the back.

This pub is a great find despite being slightly off the beaten track. It is well-used by the village, walkers and cyclists alike who all get a warm and friendly welcome. There is a restaurant and the beer is very well kept. There is also a car par k nearby - as well as a camp site. Make sure you check out the views from the pub - outstanding!

We came here as a family of 5 for food and drinks on our break to Newton Abbot. We entered and were taken to our table, asked if we wanted drinks and ordered food quite quickly. The drinks came out and food came out, the food was lovely, good portions, we all enjoyed it up to this point….However once our food came out it was then as though we were invisible, nobody asked if everything was ok with our meals, if we wanted another drink. We sat there for half an hour with empty plates and empty glasses. Having decided that this was enough we all got up to leave and pay at the bar. We would’ve had desserts if we’d been offered, overall experience brought down by the poor overall service.
