The Palk Arms
Hennock, Bovey Tracey, Newton AbbotMy husband and I visited the pub with our baby today following a walk at the reservoir. It was a relatively quiet day and we were able to have a table in the window over looking the beautiful view. The service was really friendly and we had some great food. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Home Farm Café
Parke, Bovey Tracey, Newton AbbotSuch a cute, dog friendly place! Great food, personal favourite is the Mushroom and Spinach Breakfast Baguette. My child loves the Gazillionaire Shortbread...(a hybrid of Brownie and Millionaires Shortbread). If you are in the area it's well worth a visit. Tap and bowl for dog water outside. Plenty of seats in and out. Blankets provided for outside seats in case of damp seats even!Vegetarian options: Mushroom and Spinach Baguette is a must!Oat/ soya milk available for drinksParking: National Trust pass holders park for free and others pay about £3 to park. We park for free at nearby Bovey Park and walk there as part of a dog walk.Kid-friendliness: Caters for children no problem...kids love the cakes, they have a choice of smoothie cartons and snacks too.
