A nice fish n chip shop in Central Braunton. Young woman at the till was really friendly and professional on a busy Friday night. Didn't have to wait long for fish'n chips (less than 10mins, was able to place the order without queuing). It was tasty but not the BEST chips I'd had, yes I'm fussy, plus the extraction fans didn't seem to be working as they should as had to wait outside due to the coking oil scent (I could be over fussy here, leave that one to you!). A "standard" chips portion was enough for 2 adults if you are happy not to go back for seconds. Get the next size up if so. The large fish was very tasty and had plenty of fish to consume. Batter not very crispy if that's how you like it.

Just got 2 portions of chips, 1 x Large and 1 x Standard size. The portion size was ridiculously small. I have never seen so few chips for this amount of money £6.60I'll be going to Squires or surf and turf in the future. Why do these places become so so tight??? Its beyond me.

Once again, I've returned to South Sixteen fish and chips restaurant. I had another takeaway and it was fantastic. I was served by, Rich, Linby and Kelly, all who were very, very customer friendly. Great to have a chat. Why wait for the same meal at the competitor on the high street when the food here is as good or I think better. Give it a go everyone.Parking: Park safely

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. Plus a battered beef burger, with curry sauce. No matter what you order it's delivered. Great stuff, very friendly and willing to help, no matter what. Please give this chip shop time before any other chip shop in Braunton. Very very good.

Had Cod n chips takeaway. Nice fish (not greasy). Chips could of been cooked a bit longer and curry sauce was superb. No need to queue at Squires imo.

Had to really thank the staff at South 16 for letting us get served in the restaurant 10 minutes before closing time. The fish and chips had to be one off the best lot I had in a very long time. The cheeseburger was nice and especially the chicken burger yes I did try my kids burgers. Would recommend it if any one is visiting the area it's down a side street not the 1 on the main road
