Visited for Mothers Day. Simply one of the nicest roast beef dinners ive had for a long time. All the vegetable sides were well seasoned and very delicious. You even had the option to request more if you wished but in our case was not required ! All finished off wiith a lovely not too sickly sticky toffee pudding. I have been to sq a few times now with family members and the service and staff are superb. VERY VERY professional and slick service. You simply cant ask for better and the value for money, 19.95 for two courses of that size and quality. I would highly recommend a visit.

Had a lovely supper here with my parents. The menu was varied and the food was delicious the staff were very friendly and attentive. I have been here before whilst visiting the area and will definitely go here again the next time I'm visiting my family.

My family and I usually come here for special occasions and this year we decided to visit for New Year's Day. We were very disappointed with a couple of things.When we were seated at our table, staff members were taking down all of the Christmas decorations (very noisily may I add). This was making it very difficult for us to have any conversation or even concentrate on reading the menu. One member of my party's space was very rudely invaded in the process of taking down some decorations and this made them feel quite uncomfortable.Service was a lot slower than usual, even though the restaurant was not very busy. There seemed to be some sort of business meeting going on too because there were measurements being taken of various fittings and fixtures which made us feel even more uncomfortable.When having a drink in the bar before being seated in the dining area, I couldn't hear myself think with all the young children and hustle and bustle going on surrounding them. There were buggies lying around everywhere and little room for anyone else to sit and enjoy a quiet New Years Day drink.The young children then started to affect our meal in the dining area as the parents of said children, thought the dining area was a good place to teach their toddlers how to walk! Very selfish and inappropriate to do when a family is trying to enjoy some quality time together celebrating.Frankly, this has completely ruined our image of SQ and we won't be returning in a hurry, which is extremely unfortunate due to its ideal location and very nice food.
