I am purely writing this on coffee. I had a take away coffee cappuccino and assumed it would be in region of £3 - £3.40. What I got was the tiniest of cups not even full so prob 6oz. It was £3.75! Now for a local farm shop in Devon this is extortion. It was also so strong acidic that I couldn't even drink it. It was a Roastworks coffee which is over priced compared to other suppliers and I would suggest you change supplier or lower your prices. Not even big cities charge this with their sky high premises rents.

Went to the shop to buy some meat. It didn’t look fresh the sirloin was all brown & shrivelled up and not a lot of choice. Went into the fish shop didn’t look fresh and not a lot of choice. Due to the look of the meat we decided not to have lunch there.

Cafe review only! Shop is outstanding.Second visit to the cafe. Probably the last. Both visits took an age to get service. Very poor. Ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks. Staff move like slugs in treacle. Watched the table next to me get seated on a dirty table, instead of cleaning it the waitress threw the menus over the mess. When the food eventually came, both breakfasts were missing black pudding. Highlighted this to the staff, one black pudding was brought over, asked where the second black pudding was, received a look of confusion, pointed at the second plate at which point the penny dropped. Second black pudding appeared. Wife then noticed she had no hash brown, highlighted to the staff, eventually she recieved a hash brown. Quality control before food leaves the kitchen has got to be better.Attempted to cut into my toast, had been incinerated for that long it shattered with a chunk landing on the floor by another table. Waitress clearly noticed it as she walked passed with food as she made extra effort to step over it. Wife and I had a gentlemen’s bet to see if she would clean it up on her way back. Clearly it stayed there. When I paid I was witness to a scene where a customer was ordering a second drink at the till, couldn’t get a sensible answer from the team as to wether he should pay at that point or the at the end so essentially commented on the bewildered expression of the staff and decided to pay at the end.Overall extremely disappointing. Potential to be an absolute diamond of an establishment but currently needs some serious leadership to push the standards.*NOT A REVIEW OF THE FARM SHOP WHICH IS EXCELLENT*

Myself and my husband normally like to visit the cafe during the week where we can never fault the staff who are very friendly and efficient. Previously visiting on a weekend we found it to be very busy and the staff somewhat lacking in customer service department. However, this weekend we visited with our grandchildren and their partners for breakfast… we were pleased to see a couple of the weekday staff hard at work (sorry I don’t know their names but one is younger and we think used to work at a cafe in the high street and the other is an older lady.) Good staff really do rub off on one another and it was a great experience. Yes we had to wait longer for our order to be taken but orders were being taken in order for the people that arrived first which we understood. I would say that the food wasn’t up to its usual standards but I do question if they maybe have too many options when it’s busy and it not only slows them down but leads to mistakes being made?? Something for them to think about!! I feel that some of the reviews on the google account aren’t a true reflection of this absolute gem of a cafe.

Not a great breakfast experience, I would have been embarrassed to serve anyone those eggs. Maybe I chose the wrong thing but....if you have breakfast on the menu then surely the kitchen should be able to cook eggs. The staff were simply going through the motions.Good coffee though.

Nice breakfast but the bacon was so hard it was impossible to cut with a knife. Poached eggs were good...but THREE eggs and 2 triangles of toast?? Shouldnt it be 2 eggs if only 1 toast? Very disappointed with play area for kids, just 1 wooden train, right near the on site nursery with loads of play equipment..my 3 year old grandaughter couldn't understand why she wasn't allowed in?? ? maybe a wood fence should block it off from view. There were no small animals...just goats, pigs and 2 ponies. More could be made of this place in the future maybe?

Was very busy at the time we went but despite that, the wait for food wasn't too long and with the wait! Lovely crockery but wish the coffee cups were mug size ?Parking: Plenty of spaces, all level with entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible entrance. Seating inside or outside

This is hard to write. Nice location, clean tidy and well set out. The staff were excellent, and friendly. The coffee taste was excellent, however they win the prize for the smallest cup of latte coffee in the west, (probably the country), breakfast was nice however i asked for white toast, and recieved granary, yes i did not question it. The butter was put under the toast and completely melted, more care needed. The back pudding was heated for so long, it had become a hard biscuit, really disappointed, the rest was pefect, and hot. There was eight adults and two children, we all enjoyed the food and without being really picky it was good, a little care, and it will be fantastic.

Stopped for breakfast, very nice

Lovely farm shop and cafe with some nice animals to look at. However, it is wrong for their website to market themselves as having a play park. The one piece of play apparatus provided is very limited and cannot be considered a play park. This is very misleading.

Great atmosphere and location situated on the outskirts of Cullompton. Had beautiful cookedbreakfast with a perfect poached egg. Wow. Informed it was Chef Dan who was cooking. Well done as it was busy too.

Not my first visit, but as usual the coffee is excellent and best bacon sandwich around - local bacon form a couple of miles away - wonderful - great service too
