Stayed in the rooms which were great, and the food was equally great. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be back

Disappointed they took a booking and are not honouring it.

Stopped by yesterday to check that our table reservation for Christmas Eve lunch that we booked in person a few weeks ago was all ok .The lady behind the bar retrieved the booking diary only to see that there was no booking entered. She sent a message to the owner who took the original booking asking about our reservation. The response was that there was no food being served until January! At no point did anyone contact us to say that our booking could not be honoured and it was only by sheer chance that we stopped by prior to our booking. So pleased we checked as otherwise six of us would have turned up for lunch on Christmas Eve only to have left hungry and disappointed ☹️

The barman was really friendly and welcoming. He told a little about the area and alcohol that is produced locally. The prices where really good for what we paying for compared to other areas in the country. There was a pool table, £1 a game near the back entrance. Parking is difficult to find, I suggest using the council operated car park as they are located along the high street with restricted parking on the road.

Popped in for a couple of breakfasts . Friendly staff and good choice of food available. Choice of white or brown bread for toast and a choice if how your eggs were cooked. Breakfasts arrived quickly and were very tasty. Can recommend and hopefully visit again.

Staff had no interest when we entered went up to eating area where we found no menu and had to search for one only to find limit menu and not for children left without eating.

This place has a relax chilled vibe, I attend for their dinner menu where I brought cod and chips. Was truely amazing!! All the staff are so friendly. Only shame is they don't have disable facilities. But this don't stop the White Hart. They are more than happy to accommodate for disable. With two staff happily offering to help with a mobility scooter in and out of the pub. I truely recommend to anyone!! Just for the experience ?
