On the outskirts of the town, worth seeking out, a small bar area, leads to a large split level outdoor garden terrace, half of which is under cover. 3 local ales available.
Often visit Dawlish and would come to this pub all the time if it had a better whisky selection. It seems to have a friendly atmosphere when I went in but selection was not expansive enough if you love your whiskies; likewise for craft beer so I did not stick around but did feel a welcoming ambience. Think there would be others who would favour this community pub if they broadened the selection

It is a lovely pub full of history (since 1600), very clean and well kept and the owners will make you feel at home. Don't miss the opportunity to visit if you are in Dawlish (amazing garden and the flowers are spectacular).
