A great lunch with friends today. The sea bass and the green beans with almonds were delicious. I was very happy with how my wish to avoid garlic was dealt with - some restaurants make me feel like I’m being a nuisance with this request.

Come in regularly. Service is very good and food is exspetinoal. Cannot fault any of it apart from the fact I wish they would tell me the correct prices of spritzers as they say one price then it is more on the bill. For me especially I like consistency and it can be frustrating when they do not tell me the correct price and add it on. Apart from that the food is brilliant and they have a good set 3 course menu.

Lovely early supper, we felt no stress that we could dine with drinks and be at the theatre in time. Food was delicious the Prix Fine had a yummy set of choices and was great value. Service was excellent, beautiful setting by the cathedral. Hope to return soon :)

Took my daughter and her flatmates for breakfast there and it was superb. We were upstairs whip is lovely and airy and bright with mirrored walls and views over the cathedral and green. The food was good and we enjoyed a glass of champagne each. A real treat!

Our wait person charmed us with quiet, careful attentiveness and excellent advice on food. We try to eat here at least once every time we are over from the US on an antiques buying trip. Never disappointed. Actually dining here twice this trip.Cocktail reservation: the French Old Fashion is too sweet for my personal taste, but what a joy to find a large array of reasonably priced cocktails!

Good food but small portions and pricey. Staff had to be asked for water several times.

I booked a Champagne Breakfast at Cote Exeter as a Mother's day treat. We had a great experience, felt welcomed by all the staff. Food and drinks arrived promptly and were delish. We had a good view of the Cathedral from our table upstairs and the Laurent Perrier champagne was lovely. The restaurant was well presented and although busy it didn't feel crowded. We would happily visit again.

This is a genuinely delightful French restaurant, I know it's a chain, but it really doesn't feel like that at all. The staff are quietly attentive and charming and service was quick despite it being it being busy. The tables upstairs have an amazing view of the cathedral. The four of us went for the prix fixe menu which was excellent, just the right amount of food! The decor in Cote is relaxed and understated, I love the stripey blinds. Overall I highly recommend eating here, we had a most pleasant lunch indeed!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options clearly labeled.Dietary restrictions: All marked clearly.Parking: Plenty or paid parking options nearby.Kid-friendliness: Child friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: OK for the ground floor, no lift to upper floors.
