We have been here several times and love the ambience. It's one of our favourite places for a walk and pint stop. Had the Sunday carvery today which was very filling and tasty. Nothing fancy but lovely and pubby food. Staff always very polite and the outside area is a dream.

A lovely little place with picturesque views over the gorge. We have visited twice in the last month. The Sunday roast was lovely on my first visit, however, I would be prepared for long wait for the carvery as it's very popular. My husband and children were finished their meals by the time I returned to the table with my carvery. We also took my mum along on mothers day and even though we got there 45 minutes before the start of lunchtime, all the indoor seating had already gone and there was a large queue forming. We ended up sitting outside in the rain eating our dinner, which wasn't ideal. Despite this, the staff were warm and welcoming and the food was good (and hot which was good as we were all freezing!) The bar is dog friendly, which is fantastic, and the staff always make a fuss of my big german shepherd when we visit. The location is what really sets this nice wee place apart from the other local pub/restaurants. It's beautiful!

Our first visit to the Fingle Bridge Inn although the weather wasn't the best it was a beautiful place. Being Mother's Day it was extremely busy and no seating in the restaurant only the bar but the service and food was lovely for a light lunch. Will definitely be going back there again.

I've driven past this Inn so many times admiring it. Yesterday I got to go for lunch. It's very busy, very popular with walkers & doggy lovers. Can recommend the carvery, fresh & very tasty. The staff are very friendly. The weather wasn't too good but the outside has seating & sat beside the river. Beautiful scenery, will definitely be back ?

We stopped by Fingle Bridge Inn along the "Hunters and Fisherman's path to Castle Drogo" hike in mid January. It is situated right along the river, in a very picturesque location. It has that traditional welcoming pub/inn atmosphere, and most importantly very dog friendly! The cream tea we had here was wonderful, with warm scones and a very generous container of clotted cream.

Well worth a visit when in the area. Great walking spot as well ....nice 4 mile loop along the valley to Castle Drogo.Really friendly pub for food and a drink . .and a stunning location and the end of a dead end roadFood was standard pub offerings.
