Ordered food through deliveroo and they said they had no drivers but food would be with us shortly. After 3 hours of waiting the food still hasn't turned up and we haven't heard anything from anyone. Tried calling and it just rings for ages then hangs up. Unprofessional service and very disappointing. If you can't provide the food to the customer then you shouldn't keep them waiting. It can't be that hard to call up and explain the you won't be able to do the order. Will not be ordering from here again and dont advice anyone else does

Chips undercooked, batter tastes very odd, one piece of fish was lovely while the other bit tasted distinctly off, not good when even the cat turns down white fish.Portion sizes so-so for the price, would be better if the entire serving was edible, not bothering with sidwell f&c again as I’m more disappointed with every visit.

It must depend on what day you go. Well today must have been a BAD DAY.Luke warm chips, a pie that was blasted in the microwave therefore the pastry was tough/rubbery. Sausage in batter skin hard-on one side, been under the heat lamps too long.Spent almost £20 and threw most of it away.Would not use again. Nor recommend.I try to be fair with my reviews and this is IMHO.

Orderd from website over 30 pound they refused it saying I live too far away.I live close by and order from here before.Now they won't refund my money for 5 days.So I have to spend double as I'm at home with a broken leg and two kids.Lazy useless not what it once was

I visited last week after a really busy day, I really fancied some fish, and this was the only place open. I was a bit worried about getting fish from a place that served a kebab.. However, i was pleasantly suprised. The man that served me was very friendly and I didn't have to wait long for the food. We ordered a kingsize fish and kingsize chips, battered sausage, mushy peas, and a battered pie. Yep, thats right. A battered pie. The food tasted so good and the fish was cooked beautifully. The only thing i would say, the chips could have been a bit bigger considering the size was kingsize, saying that.. i was comfortably full after and will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend.

Nice takeaway chips, gorgeous kebab and lovely service. The men were really lovely and very friendly. Both my partner and I would revisit for a cheeky evening snack!Parking: Only on road parking and they are situated in a busy area ao crossing the street can be a challenge.

AWFUL! I had food poisoning and so did my son! I new the fish was not cooked so I stoped although my son didn’t… I feel so unwell! I hope this place gets shut down asap! Never again don’t go!!
