Love the pub and especially the landlord! If you're not a local or a stupid 'woke', don't bother entering as the landlord's humour is not to everyone's taste!Gets packed on football days. Unfortunately an annoying student hangout but if you can look beyond that...

Me and my mates walked into the pub and were demanded to give up our booked quiz table and stand after half an hour because we hadn’t all bought drinks. 2 of us had already bought pints and we would’ve happily bought more had she not rudely told us that if we didn’t buy more drinks we had to get off our table. Plenty of nicer places to go where you won’t be ushered out early for not drinking enough. Won’t be going back.

We had a lot of fun going to this pub! They have a good selection of beers and they even have a decent selection of food.\\nNigel, the barkeep was a lot of fun! He tries to razz you on the way in and then he tells you a few jokes before he gives you delicious beer!\\nWe got to meet the most famous patrons of the bar. One was a black lab named Starla and the other was a wiener dog named Dottie. Both exceptional patrons.\\nYou would be remiss if you did not stop in for, at least a cold one. I would recommend to order some food, beverage and then settle in for a fun card game or some excellent conversation!!\\nWe will return to see Nigel and his wonderful staff again!!
