An old and attractive building containing a modern interior. Its large attractive windows let in plenty of light and add atmosphere. The main bar is on two levels and generally set out for eating for which there was plenty of custom. I absolutely love this pub. Me, my husband and daughter all go together for food regularly. It's always clean, tidy and the staff are very helpful and attentive. Food is fantastic and drinks are always lovely. I can't rate it highly enough.

Had a meal for a family members birthday, there was 13 of us so we were advised a 45 min wait which I totally understand as there was so many of us but I do not believe we waited that long. Food came out together. It was delicious and everyone ate it all. The barman (sorry didn’t catch his name) was polite attentive and very professional as was the landlord. I can not recommend enough. Thank you
