I went into the store today specifically to buy some rhubarb to make a crumble however the store did not seem to have any. Just to be sure I asked a friendly staff member if they had any in stock. She left her duty of reducing items to help me find any rhubarb and when she couldn’t I told her it was fine and that I would buy apples instead, she insisted however that she would check with her colleague so I would have a definite answer. I followed her to her colleague and her colleague said they unfortunately do not have rhubarb in stock as it is going out of season (fair enough) and she gave an alternative of tinned rhubarb or to pair blackberries with my apples. I managed to see her name tag as Lena however I didn’t get the name of the first girl that assisted me. I would just like to say that this whole interaction was so lovely and although I didn’t leave with my rhubarb, I left a happy customer due to the outstanding customer service that had been provided. Thank you Lena and younger girl with dark curly hair.

Clean and tidy with all the usual M&S goodies. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Great store, lovely food. Bought Wholemeal Bloomer today from Richard at the bakery. Great service, best bread in Exmouth!

Good quality M&S Simply Food, located in Exmouth right next to the railway station. The store has its own car park which is free for one hour. Turn off the main road towards the Imperial Road car park. M&S is the next turning.

Really useful store and very pleasant after the facelift but the self serve tills are a nightmare. Only one takes cash which doesn’t stop people paying by card using it. And exactly how long can people take checking out a couple of items? Self serve tills and a predominately geriatric customer base do not mix!

Brilliant fruit and vegetables. Such good quality with some of the cheapest prices in Exmouth. The best quality at the best prices.

Overall a good place for top up shopping but sometimes can been limited on fresh vegetables.

Large size Food hall situated just outside the town centre adjacent to the Railway station, step free access via ramp entrance, in store cafe, floristry, coffee to go, fresh bakery, 6 self service tills as well of manned tills however only one was open during my visit.

Normal M&S Food, so decent quality, but beware the car parking. This is a busy store, especially during the summer season and by the time you’ve done a decent weekly shop and queued to pay, you can risk getting close to the 1 hour parking limit. Going over the time limit will cost you an £80 fine. The carpark is independently run and it is easy to miss the signage. Not impressed that M&S chose to operate in this way.

I parked in the car park after ringing the store who told me parking was free!!I parked in the disabled bay and I did see on a meter that had a sign saying it was free it was free!! so I went in the store to look around and came out and did a short walk to to look at the estuaryI have received a parking penalty for £85 from Euro Car Parks, I thought we were out of EU!!I rang M@S Exmouth and got no help on the phone, it Just said parking was free. This poor customer service and to be fined to park ion their car park and be fined by a foreign company is deceptive and did not see about disabled parking!!M Moses
