I went into the store today specifically to buy some rhubarb to make a crumble however the store did not seem to have any. Just to be sure I asked a friendly staff member if they had any in stock. She left her duty of reducing items to help me find any rhubarb and when she couldn’t I told her it was fine and that I would buy apples instead, she insisted however that she would check with her colleague so I would have a definite answer. Good quality M&S Simply Food, located in Exmouth right next to the railway station. The store has its own car park which is free for one hour. Turn off the main road towards the Imperial Road car park. M&S is the next turning.

Really useful store and very pleasant after the facelift but the self serve tills are a nightmare. Only one takes cash which doesn’t stop people paying by card using it. And exactly how long can people take checking out a couple of items? Self serve tills and a predominately geriatric customer base do not mix!
