We were pleased to see Sunday Lunch being served mid afternoon .We thought the food was very good.Really well seasoned with some interesting flavours.Views from the top floor were great.Perhaps could have done with another waiting staff for upstairs .We didn't get an offer of sauces but member of staff appeared very busy. The cutlery container and salt and pepper grinders could have done with a clean.Tables were clean .Would return .Beer well kept

Excellent food and friendly service from Sophy. Crab rarebit was delicious, and sea bream and plaice for mains were really good, as was the wine recommendation. Will definitely recommend for food and atmosphere.

Great pub with great Youngs beer! The landlord Will was really friendly and helpful, we were served by Sophy who was very attentive and cheerful and friendly. The food was excellent we both had seafood dishes that were excellent. Highly recommend this place, a proper pub!

My partner and I have been to the Grove a few times for drink when we have been in the area and always find the staff to be welcoming and friendly. On our most recent visit to Exmouth we decided to stay for the Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. The meat was perfectly cooked and the crispy roast potatoes hit the spot. We'll definitely visit again when we are back in the Exmouth.
So, so glad the Grove could host all 30 of us last night. They did us proud. From our very first enquiry with Angie and subsequent meetings with Gemma and Will, we immediately felt confident that we were in good hands. Our party included a few guests with specific dietary needs. To reassure us, Gemma introduced us with both chefs, Paul and Wayne, who were more than happy to talk through every detail. Everything happened as planned on the evening itself. Lovely Sophie served us all evening. She was unphased by the large numbers and we all enjoyed her company. When it came to the bill, there too, no surprises or unexpected ad-ons. It was exactly as expected. An unforgettable evening. I can thoroughly recommend the Grove.

This was Christmas day. The special menu choices were excellent. We were greeted with smiling staff and extremely well looked after for the whole event. All of the tables were booked but the staff coped admirably Well done The Grove ?????????

We visited the Grove on Christmas Eve for a drink, the atmosphere was amazing. Everyone was enjoying themselves, the staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The fire was roaring and the smell of mulled wine made it very cosy and festive. On seeing the food coming past our table, we decided to stay for lunch. I had the roast lamb which was absolutely delicious. Extremely tasty and the meat fell off the bone, lots of veg, potatoes and gravy all piping hot. My partner had the roast beef and thorougly enjoyed it aswell. After being out of the country for a couple of years a good old Sunday roast was greatly appreciated and did not disappoint. Thank you- we will be back.
