“Small village bakery with all the usual tempting goods but also has hot pizza,sausage rolls,bacon turn overs and pasties to take away. Need to come early as all the breads are gone. Have also just created a small area to sit n hav a coffee. Their cold sandwiches are the best but go quickly. Staff are all lovely with unique Devon banter. Not for cardio patients tho.”

“I use the bakery quite often and have done for years. Their bread is superb - proper old school bakery made bread. The cutrounds (small, tall rolls dusted in flour for non Devonians!) are A1. Torrington is blessed to have two great independent and proper bakers and Green Lantern is one of those.”
