“Great breakfast, never disappoints. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming with my 8 month old daughter. High chair available and the owner brought over a little box of books/toys for her to look through. The little touches make a big difference.”

“A really friendly cafe located within the covered market. The food is freshly prepared and always delicious, especially the soup of the day which is entirely homemade. The Market Cafe is somewhere I always visit when in Great Torrington.”

“Found by accident but glad we did. Sweet little place selling decent coffee and homemade cakes. I've pinned this on my Googke maps so that we can find it again.”

“I use the bakery quite often and have done for years. Their bread is superb - proper old school bakery made bread. The cutrounds (small, tall rolls dusted in flour for non Devonians!) are A1. Torrington is blessed to have two great independent and proper bakers and Green Lantern is one of those.”
