I've eaten here many times. Always great service and the menu always has a great mix of options - it's always hard to choose as it's all tasty (pancakes with bacon probably my fav). Not the easiest to find in town but worth searching out.

Tucked away in the Castle grounds opposite the car park and in the same building as the post office. Secluded garden. Good sandwiches. Highly recommend the king prawns.Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Relaxed atmosphere and great cakes.

Just the most lovely people serving good food, cake, meals and snacks, at very reasonable prices. Wheelchair friendly. Car park alongside, except for motorcycles fee required, so read the rules carefully. Or, like us, go on a motorcycle. Thank you lovely staff for making our two recent visits so good.

This was my first visit even though I regularly walk in this area. It won't be my last! Beautiful setting. Lovely staff. Great coffee and fabulous home-made cake (lemon - gorgeous). I wonder how many residents of Great Torrington realise how lucky they are to have such lovely walks on their doorsteps and a selection of unique shops/cafes. Long may it last.

Lovely lunch with relaxing birdsong from the garden. Great choice of food plus always something exciting in the specials board.

Have been for a private function and the food was amazing and not the usual buffet of sandwiches and sausage rolls. Been with a friend and sometimes go on shopping days with my mother-in-law for coffee and a sandwich. Again, not the usual choice of sandwiches, and so well filled plus salad. We had to take half home one time because there was just so much and couldn't eat it all. They also do takeaway. Lovely friendly staff and very patient with elderly customers. Would definitely recommend whether just for a coffee or meal.
