Very disappointed to discover additional charges for eating in.2 teas, £3.80 take away, £5.00 drink in.Bacon and cheese toastie £4.75 take away, £7.50 eat in!£3.95 for the privilege of eating in? Daylight robbery as far as I'm concerned; almost a 50% mark-up. Especially considering the tables and chairs were dirty and not cleared of the previous eaters' meals.Won't be popping in there again ?

I decided to eat in and the menu outside stated £4.00 for a bacon sandwich. The sandwich was nice. I was then charged £7.50 for the sandwich. There did not appear to be an ‘eat in’ price list. Bad practice.

£5.95 advertised for take out baguettes is much cheaper than their eat in option! After ordering we changed our minds and thought we'd eat in as it was only a quick lunch. We were told it was a different price to eat in....the server then asked us to pay at the end because their machine was slow .... A £14 take out option transformed into a £25 eat in bill. We were in for approx 20 mins! 2 X average baguettes, a pot of tea and a sprite.

This small café sells food to be taken away but they also have 3 small tables inside. My friend and I chose what we wanted to eat inside from their window display. The 2 identical items were clearly priced £2.30 each. Plus we both had a coffee. They knew we were eating inside and never mentioned a surcharge! What we chose was tasteless and disappointing. When we went to pay they imposed a surcharge of over £2 each to our bill for sitting inside. What should have amounted to £10.60 was £14.80! There was nothing in the café or outside to warn us of this and neither was it mentioned when we ordered. This is extortionate! There is a large, very good café next door and I suggest you go there in future. We will!!!

After a 25mile bike ride from Crewkerne man, was I pleased to see this cosy coffee, sandwich and soup shop on the high street of Honiton. They also have jams chutneys and little treats for the soul. Excellent cappuccino plus it was hot so I couldn’t resist their juicy spongy apple cake. Thank you very much for an excellent rest. Back on the road we go

Had a nice lunch in this busy bakery. There is limited seating, but an extensive menu. Food was nice and reasonably, if there is a seat, go in and enjoy

This spot is great for families, the cake was amazing too. The employees were so helpful. It is nice to see a small business thriving.

We stopped off in Honiton on our way back from Cornwall. We had the full English breakfast, which was delicious. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and the cafe was altogether charming, with teapots and fresh rolls and bread also for sale!

We were lucky to get a table for two here and felt sorry for the four people who came in shortly afterwards and had to go elsewhere. They really missed a treat. We enjoyed fabulous well-filled sandwiches and looking at all the delicious cakes and savouries on display in the window. Wish we lived nearer although we'd be twice the size as food this good is impossible to resist. We will certainly make a beeline for this place when we are on our way to the coast again.

We try not to eat at chains when we're visiting a new place, so we were delighted to find Jollybee's when we were walking around Honiton. They provide simple but delicious home-made food. My partner opted for a baguette and I went for the beef and blue cheese panini with red onions. It was really tasty, and the beef was hot and tender. It came with a nice amount of sides (crisps, salad and coleslaw). A great all round refuelling after a long afternoon. The prices were reasonable, the food was fresh, and the guy serving us was an absolute delight. Very friendly and attentive.I would absolutely recommend them highly and when I visit Honiton again I'll be back to Jollybee's!Vegetarian options: They had numerous vegetarian friendly items on the menu. Kid-friendliness: There was a good range for child-friendly food available. Dietary restrictions: They had noticed up and also a statement on the menu saying that they can cater for various dietary requirements if they are notified.
