Stayed in Ilfracombe for a wedding and discovered this cafe right outside our hotel! We love board games so spent an evening in here. Played a few games we already knew but the owner was great at picking some new games for us and teaching us how to play. Had a pizza and coffee, both nice. Also bought a game from here too! We'll definitely be back if we head that way in the future.

We stumbled across this place at the end of a walk and it was so much fun! Everyone was so friendly and funny, we were quick to make new friends and find our new favourite board game. Felt like they'd opened up their front room for the community. Really recommend visiting!

Visited Dice and a Slice as a novice to board games whilst on holiday, but the owners went above and beyond to recommend games and teach us rules and strategies. Ended up leaving with a new favourite game!

We popped into this aladins cave of games on our holiday. We are starting to collect some smaller cards games and board games. Carol and friends were lovely giving us lots of advice on some of their favourites and playing some of our chosen games with us. It was great to try some out with a cuppa , before we bought them to add to the collection.

Fantastic little gem in Ilfracombe, a staggering array of classic games from the 70's and 80's right up to modern classic games such as Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne and to the latest releases! A family concern where the hospitality is matched only by the quality of the homemade cakes and drinks served.Always a friendly welcome - so many games so little time!

Dice and slice staff are great with our special school. They open up during the school day for us. The staff play with the student which makes the games so much better and the students love playing with them. This makes them engage better and understand the games. The staff are so helpful. Highly recommended

Kid-friendliness: The owner are all very kid friendly. Parking: There is a cheap car park nearby, so parking not a problem.
