“Very quiet when we arrived with one guy in the bar and one couple eating so easy to get a table. The young lady doing front of house was both friendly and efficient. Heineken was 4.20 a pint which I thought quite reasonable. I had Gammon Steak and the wife went for Chicken Goujons, both of which were good portions, my gammon being just a little overdone for me, but certainly a personal preference and perhaps I should have asked for how I like it. By the time we had finished our meals several more people had congregated in the bar. This eatery looks like a family concern to me and all credit to them as they were continuously finding jobs to do. Thanks for a lovely evening which cost just on 40 quid, so not bad at all!”
