“My wife and I sat outside on a nice autumn early afternoon and were treated to a superb lunch.The mussels my wife had were not only enormous and succulent but clean as a whistle in a top mariniere sauce. I had a fantastic fish stew.The waitress was called Paula I think and was super friendly and helpful and fun.”

“We always have a meal here when we're in Ilfracombe. The fish is freshly cooked and the chips are great. You can have a beer or wine, and the service is informal and friendly. They welcome dogs. It's on the harbour, close to Verity, and we usually go for an ice cream from one of the shops afterwards. It's unpretentious bliss.”
