Popped in for a tea and cake and it was lovely. Real proper tea, nice China and the cakes are homemade to die for. Absolute value for money. Finally a chocolate cake that is properly made. Gold star to this place

The food we ordered was very good, lovely sandwiches and cake. Good quality ingredients. The service could be improved, no warm welcome from the staff member when entering. The atmosphere was okay. They only played hip hop music the whole time visiting, which was quite annoying and not very relaxing, but if hip hop is your thing, I am sure this place would be absolutely fine. Wonderful sea views throughout ?

Food was poor . Coke tastes of plastic. Hot food came out as warm. As in sausage rolls. Dogs in/ near the kitchen food area. Cakes were either stale or nearly frozen . Cold in there and could not close window due to power cable. Toilet unhygienic. Did not see any vegan options available. Very disappointed. Will not return.

So disappointed booked for 6 of us gor my dad's 90th birthday...we sat right under a window that was open ( couldn't be shut as cable in the way) so was cold! Sausage rolls were cold (wasn't given choice hot/cold) coke tasted 9f plastic...chocolate brownie was really cold as if just come out of fridge and hard didn't eat it! Thought as pastry chef they would have given more attention to detail...so so disappointed wish had have gone somewhere else ..don't normally write reviews but it put a real downer on the evening:(

Stacc was one of the only cafe opened in November right after the school holidays. We had yummy lemony tart and coffee, in a nice setting. It's welcoming from the cold sea breeze... No roadside parking available, but in November, the roads are pretty free of traffic.

It was a murky, misty, damp and chilly day when we stopped off in Ilfracombe. We wanted a light lunch, but most places were closed being late November. We came across Stacc and were glad we did. We had a very warm welcome. The coffee was excellent and we shared a large fresh sourdough ham and cheese toastie. The cakes looked delicious. There is seating outside, but not for the weather we had that day!

What a find! We visited for the first time this week and will definitely be back. The cocktail list is fab in the evenings (including some great looking mocktails). The cakes looked amazing too. It was friendly with good service. I’m looking forward to going back one day and would recommend anyone give it a try.
