“We found this pub during a camping trip to the local area, whilst taking our dog for his evening walk. There was a lovely village atmosphere, yet we felt totally welcome as strangers. The service was friendly, attentive and promp. Staff were all super polite and helpful. The food and drinks were fabulous - good choice of food, well cooked and presented, and tasted wonderful. Our dog was made to feel very welcome - able to sit anywhere we liked with him, his own bowl of water, and good quality dog treats for sale on the bar. Just wish we lived nearby - we'd definitely be regulars!”
