A friend recommended that I visit Rochelles for brunch saying the chef was French and he made a great croque monsieur.Wow, this place was packed at 11am on a Thursday and i had to queue for a table.Great menu choice but I came for one dish only....., the French chef made the best croque monsieur I have ever tasted, truly delicious.Despite being full the service was exceptional with 4 waitresses busy with happy customers.Upon leaving I asked to see the chef, yes he was French and I told him how great his sandwich was.Definitely worth another visit.

Great place to eat and socialise. A lot of people there because it's popular. Also has seating outside and overlooking the river. A bit cold now but perfect in the Summer.Parking: Two car parks in walking distance. One of them is free for two hours.

Came in today for the first time as a group of 6 for breakfast.Was really impressed with everything. The food was delicious, we all cleared our plates.Can’t wait to come back again and try the cakes, they all looked incredible but I was too full.The coffee was also delicious.Can’t fault it!Thank you Rochelle’s.Parking: Cost 1.60 for 2 hours in short stay and was oodles of space.

The food is a 1/5 at best, lack of local fresh ingredients, the bread you get with the soup is comparable to the supermarket value loaf you’d get at Tesco. In the past I’ve had cold chips, a cold burger and generally, most things are flavourless. Terrible vegetarian options (mostly cheese, egg and beige food). Friendly service and the beautiful view of river are the only reasons why I go back.

Poor value for the price. I had a jacket potato with coleslaw and they were too lazy to make their own coleslaw ; instead they used supermarket coleslaw and not the nice one but the cheap and horrible one . Such a shame as the standard of food was excellent with the previous owners. The service was good though.

I ordered veggie breakfast but dish quite small and not really tasty.The young lady who served me so helpful and polite.I will choose somewhere else for breakfast next time but for have a coffee yeah, nice place.
Returning to Ivybridge after four days on Dartmoor meant that we were ready for a REAL breakfast before catching our train. Rochelle's did not disappoint us. Lovely friendly service, good food with lots of choice, great views of the river and a welcoming atmosphere make this an excellent choice for a visit.
