Great place for an overnight with a camper van. £5 for the night and plenty of pubs, shops and amazing views and walks at Tintagel Castle.

We felt so comfortable and welcomed at this village pub. The food was excellent and it was such a friendly atmosphere. Even the dog felt at home! Thank you for good old fashioned service.

Called in just for a cuppa tea only to find the pub are now doing takeaway fish and chips to fill the gap left by the now closed mobile fish and chip van. Have to say it was fantastic, good portion size, nice size fish with a good crunchy batter. I added mushy peas and their own in house curry sauce ? I would definitely recommend ?

Lovely community owned, dog friendly pub. Top pub food from local producers and a decent selection of drinks. Big car park and chilled outside seating. Just want you need from a village pub.

We visited for Sunday lunch en route home from Plymouth. It’s a lovely little community-run village pub on the edge of Dartmoor, but not far off the A38. We went on a Sunday so the menu was limited to a variety of Sunday roasts (including 2 vegetarian options) It was quite busy & service was quite slow, but the atmosphere in the pub is lovely, so we just relaxed and chatted whilst waiting for our food. It was definitely worth the wait - a generous portion & the food was delicious. I can’t comment on the normal menu, but if the Sunday lunch is anything to go by, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere, easy parking. Will go again for sure.
Sunday roast was a winner. We've past this pub/ restaurant a few times and never knew it had a big car park at the back with tables. We booked in, but with the sunny spells, we had our meals outside. The set menu was good value and the food had a good standard. Great value for your money. And we were looked after really well too.

A wonderful find in Cornwood. We visited with our two dogs who were made more than welcome. Food was lovely and there is a nice selection of local beers - just what was needed after a days hiking. There’s a wonderful community spirit here and the pub is so cozy and welcoming. We would definitely return!
