A random stop for a light lunch which didn't disappoint.Limited, reasonably priced menu - food was basic but lovely, service very good. The view is fantastic!!!

If you are in the area do drop by - adjacent to the Avon estuary walk, very short detour from the inland footpath from Thurlestone and only a short walk up from the beach carpark. Wonderful community shop but also a fab cafe where you can sit outside and enjoy the views of the estuary. The ladies heated up my pasty and wrapped it in foil so I could enjoy it on the cliff tops later that day. Very tasty!

Stumbled upon this little cafe years back and it left an impression on me. Beautiful views of the estuary and good service from the staff. Kitchen closes at 2pm but hot drinks are still available.

Cafe at the back - Lovely friendly place to enjoy a coffee and a paper overlooking a view of the sea.

Some of the best views in Devon.Great pastries and coffee.Varied menus for cuisine themed dining, or just go for the naughty cheesy chips.Unexpectedly good selection of wines and beers.

How are you already closed? It's 2:30pm and you're shut? These stores used to be a hub of the village and now it's just a dead shop with nothing going on

Welcoming staff with gorgeous terrace views. We enjoyed the cream tea, fabulous pasties and gluten free mac n cheese! A great stop while walking the coastal path.
We have visited Bantham Village Stores several times (very good), but this was our first forray out onto the Coffee Terrace at the rear. Views over the Avon Estuary/ Ria are stunning, and there is a surprisingly extensive snack menu AND draught beer! We sat in the pod/globe which offers comfortable seating and protection from the elements.

We came here to go to the shop but also eat in the cafe. The staff were especially welcoming and the food and coffee was delicious. If I could i’d come here often bit alas we live far away. Thank you for a lovely breakfast. The best in a while.

Have been coming here since a child, love everything about this litte store and the views from the cafe at the back. Just a tad disappointed this year with the disposable cups and plates, bring back proper crockery please, makes the experience so much nicer!

What made this place was the view! You are not going to notice what you are eating quite as much, when you have a wonderful view over the river and it's estuary into Bantham Bay.
