Dream turkish kitchen
12 Mill St, KingsbridgeHad dinner here for the first time last week, after hearing great things about Dream Turkish Kitchen and wow it didn’t disappoint!
Had some cold & hot meze to start which tasted delicious, followed by the mix grill which was authentic and outstanding in flavour!
Finished off with a delicious desert, Katmer and a Turkish coffee which was also great!
The service was fantastic. Friendly and warm staff.
The lady who is front of house was great and nothing was too much trouble.
As a Cypriot, I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant!
The food and service are faultless and look forward to visiting again in the coming weeks!
Thank you again Dream Turkish Kitchen for a fantastic evening with great food and see you again soon!

The Old Warehouse
Prince of Wales Rd, KingsbridgeQuite amazing meal here last night. My burger was terrific and my wife who loves a pork chop described the 10oz slow cook one she had as the best she's ever eaten. The pit boss BBQ beans were really nice too. Good range of craft beers and ciders including a non-alcoholic one (see picture) my wife enjoyed. A real pleasure and highly recommended. Will definitely go back.

The Journeys End Inn
Ringmore, KingsbridgeGreat little old pub in fantastic location within walking distance to the best beach. Pretty and well kept gargen. Lovely food. Updated again after a recent visit; remains a 5 star pub in all aspects. Love it here. One of the best pubs I've been to. Sunday lunches are outstanding value, the food is delicious and the staff are always cheerful and helpful no matter how busy they are.

The Pigs Nose Inn
The Pigs Nose Inn, East Prawle, KingsbridgeThe beer was good, the service however wasn't. Picked up a menu at the bar and went to sit outside in the sunshine, a small food counter to the side of the front door was unable to take our order, went to the bar to be told a waitress would take our order at our table, then to be told by a member of staff I had to use a QR code. Very slow wifi speed, No-one from the pub appeared the least bit interested to take our food order.in the end I went to another screen and placed my order, all well and good if the pub was busy. It wasn't, a shame, because it's a nice pub with fond memories

Parkfield, Thurlestone, KingsbridgeWe are at the Village Inn twice over the last weekend as we were in Thurlestone for a wedding. They were incredible accommodating on both occasions and the food was fantastic! Definitely recommend!

Fika Coffee House
Quay House, 1 Bridge, The Quay, KingsbridgeWhere do I start?! The coffee is fantastic and the smoothies are fabulous! They’re consistent in their ingredients so you know what to expect every time. This is what makes this cafe great, it’s a hard thing to master, the best cafes in the world know that success is about consistency.
The owner is always there with a smile to greet you, as are her other members of staff who are always polite and calm. The cakes are occasionally made by her very talented daughter - who may I say is a real credit to FIKA because they are DELICIOUS and look worthy of a cake magazine!
What I do want to mention though, and I’m sure this isn’t always the case, other customers can be very impatient and stand close to you in the queue, this is nothing to do with the business I know. One diner yelled at the lady behind the counter and demanded “how long are my scrambled eggs going to be”. I was gobsmasked at such behaviour from a grown adult.. my two children would be better behaved than this. But as I’m learning, this is common practice by the locals here in Kingsbridge. But I have to say, the girl behind the counter took it on her chin and responded very calmly and professionally! Hats off to you at FIKA for all of your hard work! You are fantastic! And loved by so many! ?☺️☀️✨

KingsbridgeWe stopped here for coffee whilst visiting Bantham Beach - lovely coffee, nice and hot and able to sit on plentiful benches. We saw lots of people having food and looked good. Would be great if they did ice creams too as could not find any ice creams locally. These little food serving vans are a great idea.

Big TVs for major sporting events, a wide selection of drinks ( I advise the house red ) a great stage for the Saturday night disco and plenty of good vibes ? ✌?

Market Arcade, The Shambles, Fore St, KingsbridgePopped in because we love a booth. Food was really good, we had the all day breakfasts and kids had mini breakfasts and smoothies. Service was great, staff were lovely. We went back the following day too as we enjoyed it so much.

Regal House, Church St, KingsbridgeA really nice restaurant. The food was freshly made before our eyes in the open kitchen and was very tasty. Spice adjustable to taste. The staff were friendly and attentive. Loved the use of light strings in the 80s tiled ceiling.
The use is organic local meat is great, but this obviously means it can seem a little pricier than one might immediately expect. Worth it though.

Landlord was very accommodating and friendly (including to the dog who loved the treats!). Delicious food, family and pet friendly, clean, cosy and would go back again if not 200+ miles from home.

The Tower Inn
Slapton, KingsbridgeVisited here for the first time on our last night in the area.
Food was lovely albeit towards the top end food pricing wise at £36 for a sirloin steak but was perfectly enjoyable and cooked well. Service was pretty good and the pub was very cosy and also very relaxing. Bar staff (man with the beard and long hair, Adam ?) was very professional and personable.
We would certainly visit again whilst in the area.
