What a shame. We walked 6 miles to have a late lunch. Been here before and really enjoyed it. Waited 1 hour for food, then told it would be another 35 mins. We had booked a table. Service was awful.

Charming, quirky old pub. Food very good indeed. Worth it for the fantastic array of paraphernalia in every space. Sit in "Holy Corner". Do not feed the locals' lovely dogs no matter how hard they stare at you.

What a delightful Pub ! We holidayed at the superb Leonards Cove in September 23 & January 24 , both times popping in to the Pig`s Nose at lunchtimes after walking either side of the Beautiful Gammon Head . In 2023 we had gammon , egg & chips - Wow ! top quality , perfectly cooked , nice local beers , friendly efficient Staff . In January we visited on a Monday , not realising hot food was limited on Mondays , but we enjoyed a gorgeous , savoury leek & cauliflower soup with bread & butter , with the moreish Devon Pride Ale. A proper old pub - quirky , friendly, with a very polite , efficient Person at the bar. looking forward to visiting again on future holidays.

We were staying nearby for 3 days and booked here for the Friday night. Pub is 500 years old and was used by smugglers and pirates we were told. Food was good and not too expensive. Recommend the crab salad starter. Delicious. Place was full of locals and had lots of character. We went for a walk to the Coastguard station at Prawle Point on the Saturday morning and called in on the way back to see if we could get some lunch. They had just stopped doing food but let us order a sandwich and a scotch egg which was just what we wanted. Would love to go back next time we are in the area! Definitely recommend but you need to book in the evening.

A cracking pub, we came to East Prawle on holiday and this was one on the list. We made it along and it was just perfect. The staff we super friendly and chatty. The food was great (The steak burger and fish chips were delicious and very very filling). And the place is incredibly cosy inside. If you’re near the area, get yourself down ?
A lovely lunch with friends, great new menu with great tasting quality local produce in a local pub bursting with character and history. Highly recommend to any one in the area or passing through.

Absolutely spot on lunch. Scotch eggs were heavenly and light, crab and avocado stack was fresh and tasty and the chips…. You will want a second portion. All in the most perfect traditional cosy pub setting.

A very popular pub with a lot of character. I've been dropping in for 40 years and it is always a pleasant place to be. It has a captive audience in the summer with a lot of camping fields on its doorstep. Bar staff were great in busy circumstances when we visited last on a sunny weekend at the beginning of September. Food looked good. Beer was good.
