Room was nice as always, had the meal deal and was disappointed with the evening meal and breakfast, the buffet cooked breakfast had been out far to long with very dry black pudding, mushrooms and rock hard fried eggs. Was replenished soon after i took my breakfast but too late for me. Staff were freindly and efficient and we received a complimentry drink after evening meal. Lounge area by bar in desperate need of some new furniture, this was tired and dirty.

A great example of a good premier inn. Clean and tidy with helpful, friendly staff. Pub across the bridge is good too.

It was a nice hotel ,and Shirley and India made it a comfortable and amazing experience, they are a credit to the hotel. They were both helpful , kind and welcoming. I wish all your hotels had staff like these two lady's. ???

Plus room was good value, nice small chocolates, Balis & Harding soaps. However the ultimate wifi was stupidly slow to the point of irritation, staff in P.I were friendly and helpful. However, breakfast in the Beefeater was to the point of being pathetic, slow, useless, not really interested. We wished we hadn't paid for it and just grabbed breakfast in Exeter on the way back home instead.

The bed was great but that was the plus side of our stay. There were quite a few down sides, the pivot plug in the hand basin was broken so couldn't empty the sink after use & there was a power cut in the small hours. My partner woke & was alarmed when she couldn't turn any lights on. Power cuts can happen but some form of emergency lighting shouldn't be had to provide in the room we had to fumble around for our phones.
