Stayed in Newton Abbot for business, the location was very central, it's a short walk into town. There's a Tesco across the street where you can top up on fuel. The beefeater is across the bridge and is reasonable. Overall the staff were very friendly and I had a pleasant stay, I would recommend if your in the area.
You get what you pay for, we paid £42 for 2 people for 1 night and added £9.99 for unlimited breakfast.The room was ok, basic but had everything we needed. Bed was exceptionally high, I’m 5ft 1 and it was like a little climb to get in, was comfy though. Shower does what it says on the tin, water pressure is very weak though and bring your own toilet paper, trust me on that one.Breakfast was the star of the stay, unlimited cooked and continental. Great value.

Plus room was good value, nice small chocolates, Balis & Harding soaps. However the ultimate wifi was stupidly slow to the point of irritation, staff in P.I were friendly and helpful. However, breakfast in the Beefeater was to the point of being pathetic, slow, useless, not really interested. We wished we hadn't paid for it and just grabbed breakfast in Exeter on the way back home instead.
