Not the best experience, unfortunately the service wasn't exactly up to scratch and the food was very bland, sauces were left under a heat lamp where a nice film had been created on top of it. I was also unimpressed with the the cleanliness of the restaurant as dirty plates and glasses were left on the sides between the seating for some time. I appreciate maybe there was a staffing issue but it's not the first time I've had a bad experience in thus place. I doubt I will revisit as you can find much nicer places to eat in town a short walk from the hotel.

Had a very enjoyable meal here last night. The food was spot on. Staff are really friendly. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. We will be back soon.

It is efficient and convenient, particularly if you are staying in the Premier Inn. The menu is standard grill-style fare. Service is friendly but the atmosphere is lacking.

The restaurant only had a few tables of people in but we stood for ages to be seated. No background music so atmosphere was not there. Minimal attention from waiting staff with no interaction or demonstration of a personality . Christmas meal was lovely , recommend the food!!

Turned up came a long way. The man on the desk could see we had a wheelchair. He said no seats there was loads and we offered to sit in the bar. He wouldn’t allow it. We will never go here again and will be telling everyone of our awful experience and how bad the man was that didn’t want to seat us.

Well what can I say... after being very dissapointed at the whiton and the lack of items on the menu in torquay.. we walked out and decided to try the grandstand.. never being there before.. Dale was amazing.. he gave us the best customer service that we have had since returning from America, 3mths ago.. never let him leave... we will be recommending the restaurant based on the quality of his hosting.... and yes the food was also very good! So well done... to Dale and everyone on shift during our visit.. we could not fault the place... very friendly and currently a fantastic 3 course Xmas menu.

Really great service from both Emily and Katrina. Emily was our initially waiter and was so attentive and friendly. She really went the extra mile with not only us, but all the customers she served while I was in restaurant. You can tell she really cares about her job. Was recommended the crunchy cheesecake and it would amazing. Fish and chips was great too. I would definitively recommend this beefeater.

Bit disappointed with the service. Staff seemed a little miserable and not really bothered. Toilet seats were missing in the ladies toilets and had a strong smell of wee. Bins outside overflowing and the air con was on full blast. Food is expensive for average quality. I would recommend going to the local establaries for quality food at these sort of prices. Atmosphere was nice and chilled as there were plenty of people in dining. All in all we have tried it and unfortunately wont be returning.

We visited recently for my daughters 13th birthday. We come regularly for breakfast but hardly ever for dinner due to the many bad experiences we’ve had in the past. But because it was convenient we thought we’d try again- that was a mistake. The service was ridiculously slow- it was no fault of the waiting staff who were doing an amazing job, there just clearly wasn’t enough of them. We ordered one meal from the kids menu which was fine and 4 sirloin steaks, 3 of which were so full of gristle, we couldn’t even cut one of them. When we explained to the waitress what was going on she was great and the 3 steaks were taken off of our bill. My biggest problem is, that as soon as the steaks were put in front of us it was blatantly clear even to our untrained eyes, that they were of really poor quality. So I really feel that the ‘chef’ should have spotted this and not served them in the first place. It’s a total lack of quality control.

Iam a ceolic so no gluten when asked at breakfast bar what is or not gluten free told to look at book on table how everest so small written could not read it lucky for me my son read it.we all thought it was understaff. Long queue at coffee machine one more would help.stairs up to toilet where worn and dirty toilet seat in men's cubicle was broken as the one in the lady's toilet I think overhaul it could do with a spruce up.Vegetarian options: Poor
