“The reviews for this place were almost suspiciously too good when I was booking - but when you meet the hosts (and their dog Paddy), see the room, the location and enjoy the breakfast, you'll also be leaving a five star review. Becky and Steve are genuine, lovely people who couldn't have been more generous and clearly care about their guests. A top-tier B&B experience. If you're looking at staying somewhere in Dartmoor, stay here. We really enjoyed our stay.Rooms: The rooms have en suites with showers but there is also a large bathroom with standalone bath available (great after a long walk). Everything feels new and clean and well thought through.Walkability: Lots of great walks from here - Steve lent us a map and pointed out a few routes. He also came to pick us up so we could explore further without having to make it a round trip. We came by train to Okehampton and they drove us from/to the station.Food & drinks: A full breakfast of champions! Can't fault it - a great selection and properly set us up for each day. We were also given a list of local eateries for dinner options.Noteworthy details: Paddy is an adorable pooch and kept us well entertained.”
