We have recently spent several weeks in Northlew and many nights we had dinner at the Green Dragon, so had the chance to try many of the items on their menu. From the Sunday roast, to pizza night, to fish and chips and everything in between, all was just yummy! Additionally, the owners Dan and Carla, and the staff including Alex , Tracy, Vicky, Grace, Beth and Callum were simply the best, while the villagers were constantly welcoming. The atmosphere in the pub and the comforting food made a difficult personal time much more bearable…..thanks to everyone and can’t wait to come back to Northlew and the Green Dragon.

This is a very small rural pub. Luckily it was a lovely warm evening so we could sit outside. They serve food from a limited blackboard menu. We had the fish and chips which was absolutely delicious with very tasty curry sauce. Excellent value for money and the locals were friendly.

Small, local pub, almost like home. Local people just pour their own pints. Great selection of ciders. I haven't tried the food yet, as we only pop in for a drink. Owners so nice and friendly!

We are moving to the village in a few weeks and had been recommended to the pub . Had a drink there on Easter Sunday and it was packed and food look great. Went for supper last night . Had booked, lucky as it was full at 7:30 ! Staff absolutely lovely , and the regular customers very friendly too . Lovely atmosphere. I had chilli , nice bit of heat to it , clearly home made delicious. Light and fluffy rice and good garlic bread . My partner had the chicken & ham pie , made in the village , and again yummy . Her daughter had creamy mushrooms followed by vegetarian burger , which she said were delicious and the best mushrooms she’d ever had !!!! Great place great food lovely people what more can you ask for ……. Going to be spending many nights there !!!
