Not dog friendly. Turned away as we couldn’t guarantee our dachshund wouldn’t bark at points (it’s a barky breed) Bar man left us at door whilst he went back & forth deciding if we were allowed in. In the end felt unwelcome & frustrated so myself, Partner, baby & dog just gave up & left.

Lovely country pub in the middle of nowhere! Went here for a wake which was being held here one afternoon. Food was absolutely delicious, and I loved the ambience of an old country pub with a dog by the wood fire ! Would definitely make the trip out here.

Absolutely amazing roast dinner. Would highly recommend to anyone. Don't know of any pub/restaurant in Mid Devon that can beat their Sunday roast. Staff helpful and welcoming.

Great stay. Here you can get everything from dessert to dinner. The location is very good. You can also stay here just for some drinks

This is the best place to have food. There is plenty of variety. The plates are full and it's just so nice. The staff are warm and friendly. I cannot recommend the London Inn enough.

We had a large party of people to eat here together. The food and staff were fantastic. I was expecting some of the food to be cold but everyone's meal was hot and delicious. They catered very well indeed for people with food allergies and intolerances. The decor was beautifully done, and the bathrooms were good enough to live in. The only negative comment would be that service between courses was far too long. And several people had already left before the desert was brought out.Dietary restrictions: Most of the meal was gluten free. Which was fantastic and really helps to stop you feeling like you are being difficult.

Stopped in to refuel prior to continuing the Two Moors Way. My next option for camping was miles away but the staff of the London offered up their field instead. Great news and in jumpedcat the opportunity. Thankyou all.

This place is AMAZING. The staff were all really lovely and friendly. We'd been advised the meal portions were huge and they definitely were, so much food came out. We had a really nice few hours and really struggled to fit dessert in, however never one to turn down the desserts, the kids tucked in. I would highly recommend this pub for food or a quiet drink. You would need to book in advance though and they don't open monday and Tuesdays.
