Visited the area and walked around didn't fancy anything until we arrived here.The staff were very helpful.We sat and were given free prawn crackers, ordered our meal, special house curry and king prawn curry with chips and two John smiths.All I can say is verrrrrryyyyy nice, amazing food very tasty and morish. I usually don't finish my Chinese food but I was left wanting to eat more because it was so nice.

My wife and I with our two young children ate here after the train of lights , the food and service were fantastic. The Indian waitress could not do enough for us and is a real asset to this restaurant. When in town we will return again , lovely place !

Last time we used here the food had gone below average and certainly not as it was around a year ago. Sadly I have thrown most of the takeaway in the bin. Tasteless, stale and not cooked well. As a tip, don't go straight after they open as we have twice now and not good. Mind, doubt we will return

Each time we've come to Devon from London we've struggled to find a decent Chinese place for food but thought I'd look at TA for some reviews and have another go at getting a Chinese and glad we did because the food here is really good and certainly worthy of a 5 star review. When we picked up our food the young lady behind tge counter was very friendly and polite as we're other staff members. We would definitely order food here again.
Have eaten at the Dragon Pearl a couple fo times recently and on a number of earlier occasions. The food has always been excellent and probably some of the best meals from a Chinese restuarant I have enjoyed. The service is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The decor could probably do with a make-over but don't let this get between you and an excellent Chinese meal!

Have been here a few times now and we always receive fab service. It is the kind of place that is very relaxed and you never feel rushed by the staff, who are always very kind and friendly to us. The setting is spotlessly clean and the food is unbelievable. Great portions, added with lots of options to choose from and at reasonable prices, this restaurant will keep us coming back for more.
