4A Parkside Rd, PaigntonI sourced this restaurant when I knew I’d be working in the area for a week in January. I’m very familiar with Nepalese food. I was a visitor there in 2003 for a whole month. So early on a Saturday evening I was a walk in customer.
I was seated at the back of the restaurant not long after 6 pm. I immediately ordered deep fried minced lamb momo. For the main meal, my choice was mushroom rice and the Goan Chicken Tikka Curry. This is tamarind sauce, coconut milk, yoghurt, mustard sauce, garlic and ginger in Chef's special sauce.
The momo is served along with chutney. Five pieces in a portion. They tasted delicious and were seasoned well. Then approximately ten minutes later, the main was served. I also had two poppadoms with mango chutney. The meal was wholesome, not that spicy and the chicken was tender.
Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. As I finished my meal, the restaurant started to get busier. I only had mineral water. No desert was required on this occasion. The meal was very affordable and the ambiance was chilled. I felt content but didn’t really have the wow factor. If I returned, I’d request a more spicier option.

We did order water for the table which never came but no big deal. The food however is expensive, we didn't order loads including drinks, between 4 but was over £80. But if you dont mind the cost the food was really good so great place to eat but you will spend a lot!

Staying nearby in a caravan and collected our order. It was a two minute drive from the site. The food was fresh, and you could watch it being cooked. We placed an order and popped next door to the shop for 5 mins. It was ready to collect as we walked back in. It was hot and tasty and the nicest Chinese food we have had as a take away. Would deffo recommend.

Food portions are huge and very fair price, absolutely delicious and hot and arrived early, i even have left overs for tomorrow.. like alot of leftovers. Ive always drove past this shop but this is my first time ordering for home delivery and i have zero regret. Also the amount of meat i recieved and how tender and juicy i am beyond satisfied. My dishes are stacked with meat. Highly recommend.

Despite being on the main drag of Paignton’s tourist street, once you are inside it is calm and tranquil and just what is wanted when out for a meal. The choice of food and drink is exceptional and the service is spot on. I would recommend the jungle curry to anyone fancying something with a bit of a kick.

The prawns were big and very tasty, full of flavour. The service was friendly, professional and fast. I love how you can see the kitchen and your food being cooked, it gives it a transparent feeling. 10/10 will be going here again in future!

The prices here were so good and much better value than the Chinese’s in Torquay
I have to say it was a fantastic Chinese I went for special fried rice it was bang on Crispy beef in sauce absolutely perfect nice and crispy and the sauce was lovely and a sweet and sour Hong Kong style and again perfect too
The team here work hard to provide a good service to its customers and the food is absolutely excellent so I’ve decided this is my new favourite Chinese and I will have no issue driving from Torquay to Paignton to collect
Thanks very much to the owner and my friend for dropping it off can’t wait for the next Chinese

I enjoyed hearing how Charlotte 'The Chef' has perfected her technique, and it was served with care and kindness. I would recommend. My feedback would be that the Pepsi Max is expensive and de-carbonated. A can would be a better option.

The momo is served along with chutney. Five pieces in a portion. They tasted delicious and were seasoned well. Then approximately ten minutes later, the main was served. I also had two poppadoms with mango chutney. The meal was wholesome, not that spicy and the chicken was tender.
Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. As I finished my meal, the restaurant started to get busier. I only had mineral water. No desert was required on this occasion. The meal was very affordable and the ambiance was chilled. I felt content but didn’t really have the wow factor. If I returned, I’d request a more spicier option.

Vicarage Rd, Marldon, PaigntonWe had the carvery and compared to the larger carvery offerings in this area, Ye Olde Smokey House meat portions were about double, I had the roast beef and it was delicious and beautifully tender. The staff are excellent and you can take you dog in as long as it is not in the restaurant area. A lovely day was ha by all of us.

75 Torbay Rd, PaigntonHaving visited several times over the last few years, we have never been disappointed by the quality of the food and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Despite being on the main drag of Paignton’s tourist street, once you are inside it is calm and tranquil and just what is wanted when out for a meal. The choice of food and drink is exceptional and the service is spot on. I would recommend the jungle curry to anyone fancying something with a bit of a kick.
