My wife and I have visited this restaurant previously and remember it as being excellent. Well, nothing has changed, it is still excellent. Everything is immaculately clean and the service first class. Above all, the quality of the food is really, really good. The Palace Theatre is close by making the bistro very convenient for a pre-show meal. Over the last few months we have visited a number of national chain restaurants and been badly disappointed on several occasions. They all seem to operate with a central mass production kitchen and then send batches of meals to their regional restaurants. This is where The Avenue Bistro wins every time with a family team producing first class food at fair prices. We will continue to support this excellent restaurant.

This is the second time we have visited this restaurant within 2 weeks and has quickly become our favourite. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The owner warmly welcomes customers and is very attentive without being over the top,if we could give this place more than 5 stars we would .we thoroughly recommend this experience..
