Beautiful Sunday roast and all the trimmings. Our table was stacked with bowls of cauliflower cheese and lovely fresh veg. Definitely one of the best roasts I've ever eaten out. My pork belly which can be slightly difficult to get right, was amazingly tender and tasty.Super and exciting options on the menu, I want to come back here!I can't get the vision of the bbq sharing platter being walked through the restaurant, out of my mind.. stunning and enormous!Really lovely very personal and attentive service by experienced waiting staff.On my list to return!Kid-friendliness: Children welcomed.

Service was excellent, found the mussels were a bit vinegary for our taste but that's all personal, monkfish chowder was really good as was the chocolate torte desert and a nice merlot

I don’t do reviews, we were desperate in the hotel after a Polar Express trip (4 adults 1 child) just eat was 45 mins - 60 mins , stumbled across this place nearby and ordered three large pizzas (plenty) they were all devoured, but hats off to the three pig pizza, which is probably the best I’ve ever eaten, thank you.

Sunday roast with the family. An amazingly delicious meal with so many flavours and choices of veg. Two small things that I felt ruined it for us. 1 there was too many flavours on the plate. Sometimes less is more! 2 the roast was served in a bowl. Despite trying really hard to find the quirky side to this I felt like eating out of a dogs bowl and eating from top to bottom with all the amazing tastes all mixing together. Maybe it could be served in a big plate so you can really appreciate all the stunning food and flavours. If this was changed would definitely return but not while it is sadly served like this.

My first visit with my partner & certainly won't be my last. Don't be put off by the exterior, once the food comes you'll be in for a treat, we started with mini pigeon pie, if was delicious full of flavour, my partner had the lamb steak, cooked perfectly (pink) & so tender accompanied by selection of veg, I had the Steak & Kindney Pud. again beautiful flavours, with gravy to die for (far too large) We both throughly enjoyed our meal & would highly recommend. A special mention for Steve the waiter, worked not stop & very friendly

I lived in Paignton all my life and remember this place as Pappers for an end of the night kebab. Since Andy took over for what ever reason I’ve not been in . That has been a massive mistake went there tonight for a meal with a mate and was blown away by the quality of the food . The place is very nicely done out very clean and the food OMG fantastic. Will definitely be telling everyone about it and will definitely be back . I seriously recommend this great restaurant .Gary Bond owner of Leisure 2000 .

The quality and taste of the food far exceeded my expectations from the exterior Signage. I had seen the restaurant on Tripadvisor and it lived up to the reviews and comments. Food was very fresh, very recently cooked and delicious. The Mussels were the best I have had for a very long time. Service was friendly, responsive not over intrusive. Definitely going back next time we are back down that way

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing so good we visited twice, the Sunday roast is delicious with all the trimmings. We also had various burgers, dirty fries and pizza all were fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Delicious food and a very family friendly atmosphere. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Even had a chat with us in a quieter moment. My wife said the Sunday roast was so nice, she was gutted she couldn’t manage to finish it. The burgers are huge and very flavourful. There is no way you are leaving this place without a full belly. Highly recommend.
