Wouldn't bother getting Indian delivered, ordered food through Just Eat, proceeded to call me 50 minutes after the order. I was in the shower so didn't answer, they cancelled the order. After calling, it was because they couldn't deliver, great.

Really good food, and usually good to time as well. Just be wary of ordering via Kukd; tends to not work when it comes to the payment screen. Order either direct or via just-eat and you'll be sound.

Ordered for the first time for delivery on 23.12.24, food was outstanding. Delivery was on time and the delivery driver also gave us a Christmas chocolate selection box with our order. Would definitely order again, my new favourite Indian takeaway in Plympton.

Second time in a row the order is missing items & the size of the pieces of chicken in our curry is tiny.. I don’t know whether it’s down to new management but this isn’t the Guru we’ve known over the last 5 years. Will not be ordering again.

Incredibly slow. Don't bother. We've tried a few times but they ALWAYS add at least an hour onto their estimated delivery times, it's just a complete shambles. We've given them the benefit of the doubt but the same thing every time we've tried ordering from here. They show you an estimated delivery time before you order of an hour, then take 2 hours to deliver.

I haven’t had a curry from here for a while due to family circumstances. Had a big order £50 last night for our daughters birthday and it was absolutely outstanding. I did speak to the guy who has taken it over and wished him well. Glad I ignored some of the previous reviews I’ve read. I’ll be back soo

I always have come here for our take away curry's. The staff are really lovely and the food is always delicious. I love their tarka Dahl, and their saag paneer. Their meal for one is amazing value for money and is always yummy. The only thing I would say is if you arrange delivery it's often a bit later than the ETA so I try and collect if I can. Tip: If you do collect, it's cash only but that's fine with the cash point by Co-op: just remember your bank card as I've done that before! Thank you Guru ?

Have been using the Guru for many a year, always been in my opinion the best Indian in Plymouth. As I placed my order I noticed a sign under new management, was told nothing has changed food wise, unfortunately that wasn’t correct, the food isn’t what it was, cutting corners with the ingredients, my wife had 2 mouthfuls of her chicken Buna and said it’s disgusting, my special curry, was just missing it’s usual variations in flavour. The onion Bhjai was very very greasy and not its usual crisp. Sorry Guru but I will be going elsewhere. Bring back Bill!!!
