La Petite Pêche
Delicious pizzas!! Such lovely accommodating staff and a wonderful playlist!
Dog friendly too… win win.
Vegetarian options: Mushroom pizza was made with all kinds of amazing mushroom varieties! Defo a veggie recommendation
nice place, nice atmosphere, nice food and kind staff, the owner was very kind and chatty making us feel very welcomed. there was a very inclusive atmosphere inside making a nice evening meal. there was also an option for takeaway at the back of the restaurant. would recommend for any pizza lovers in salcombe
Not quite sure what to make of Sailor V - it's a lovely space and we were welcomed warmly with our dog Oppo being allowed in bylut.criley, the prices are off the scale - just shy of £20 per pizza and what I couldn't work out was how the Pepperoni Pizza was less expensive than the Margherita - basically the same.pozza.with pepperoni is.cheaper? Menu consisted of four or five pizzas and no salads - not sure if the bases are made on sight or bought in.
Doesn't pay his staff
Give this place a wide berth. New owner since Nov 2023 doesn't pay his staff. He didn't pay my son over the Christmas period but we eventually got him to pay up...
Lovely food, friendly staff , Brillaint smoothies. Only downside is the opening times
One to avoid
Great pizzas & service & a beautiful place, would definitely recommend!
Amazing service, ambience, food and drink. Came here with my husband and two boys whilst on our Easter holidays and couldn't believe they had only been open just over a week. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by the staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening. The wine and cocktails were delicious as were the scallops, pizza and charcuterie boards. Absolutely fabulous...wish we could of stayed longer. Hopefully we will be back in Salcombe soon. A hidden gem for now, but not for long I'm sure of it!
Our first visit here opened within the last week. The warm and friendly atmosphere ( great background music too), 5 star food and 5 star service was very welcomed. Our family (5 adults and 3 children) will most definitely be returning. Fabulous!!!!! Thank you for the perfect start to our Easter
Had a lovely homemade pasty.

We came on particularly rainy Monday (31st August), it seems to be one of only a couple of coffee shops in Salcombe we could find. Other one had a massive queue outside. So desperate for lunch and a coffee after walking around in pouring rain, we found here. Unfortunately we were turned away as it was a minute past 2, as they were closing apparently. Maybe they don't need the business?
Popped in today for coffee and brunch with family (wife plus 7 and 2yr old). Excellent staff, owner very welcoming and very quick service! Really good bacon sandwiches and delicious pain au chocolate according to the 7yr old! Very quick and satisfying stop. I imagine the BH yesterday was very very busy hence the poor review I just read. We thought it was great!
Went to Sailor V’s based on some of the reviews on trip advisor… it was a cute little cafe with a nice selection of drinks. The food was mediocre… classic cafe food, good value. After visiting a few other breakfast places in Salcombe we do think there are better places to get eggs, toast etc. I would recommend the smoothies, they are fresh and can be taken away; perfect when it’s warm outside!
Very slow service, had run out of half the food we ordered, after we had ordered. Cake was dry. Front of house staff were doing their best but can’t cope with demand. Don’t bother stopping here.
Good coffee also good for lunchtime snacks reasonable prices for Expensive Salcombe friendly staff and dog friendly
