Clifton Pl, SalcombeHonestly this coffee shop is excellent. The cakes are too die for! I particularly loved the gluten free selection of cakes, sausage rolls and pastys! The coffee is incredible, and the staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is also brilliant, and we managed to get a lovely little seat looking out on the water. Pure bliss!

Their dinners too are great, do book. This is a popular business and so deserved.

The Boathouse, 28 Island St, SalcombeWe absolutely loved our experience at the gin school, really fun and interesting. Special thanks to Graham, Jason and the lovely bar staff for their warm welcome and wonderful service. Would definitely recommend, we look forward to going again.

Rockfish salcombe
SalcombeWe had such a great meal at Rockfish in Salcombe. The staff were super friendly and really attentive nothing was too much trouble!
The food was incredible! The oysters were so fresh, the fish tacos were packed with flavour, and the scallops were absolutely huge and cooked perfectly. You can really tell how fresh everything is.
Lovely spot right by the water too. Relaxed vibes, great views, and top-notch seafood. Definitely recommend!

The pasty shack
10a Fore St, SalcombeA lovely lady served us today when we went to buy pasties and cups of tea. She was also happy to fill up the water bottle for our dogs. The pasties were lovely as was the tea. Thank you for being welcoming x

20 Fore St, SalcombeSat on the rooftop terrace for drinks and food. Staff were really helpful and attentive despite being a busy Saturday in the sun. We had the sea food platter, nachos and dirty fries. It was all brilliant. The sea food platter was excellent with delicious scallops. Lovely, lovely place to watch the world go by.

Mariana is such a lovely waitress and she is always super smiley and helpful and even remembers my go to order! The food is absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend the breakfast. South Sands, SalcombeI was completely blown away by the food and, as a very fussy foodie, that’s not something I say lightly. My husband booked a birthday treat for me and my daughter, and it truly exceeded all expectations. We started with the sourdough bread, which was exceptional, especially paired with the delicious dipping oils. For starters, I had the scallops, they were very good quality and cooked to perfection, and my daughter chose the king prawns. They were enormous, incredibly meaty, and served in a sauce so good she wanted to drink every last drop. For the main course, I ordered the belly pork from the specials menu, and it was absolutely superb (I 100% recommend ordering). My daughter had the chicken Caesar salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The cocktails were excellent and crafted to a high standard, the best espresso martini I've had, and the level of service throughout the evening was faultless. Thank you for an incredible experience, a spectacular view, and a birthday celebration I will always cherish. A wonderful way to begin being 42.

The Ferry Inn
Fore St, SalcombeWe stayed in Salcombe for a week and found the Ferry Inn in the first night. It was our favourite in the town for a drink and we popped in a few times. The atmosphere is very nice, very cosy and the staff are all really friendly.
