Crab Shed Salcombe
Gould Rd, SalcombeEarly booking for my wife, 4 month old and I after strong recommendations. Lovely spot, real nice inside. Maitre D was fabulous all evening - steering my wife away from “messy” dishes that wouldn’t be ideal with a 4 month old in her hands!! Food was fab, the best bit if bass I’ve ever eaten. Service could be a little sharper - I had to ask for more drinks and chase my fries that arrived halfway through the meal. That aside, great evening. Call ahead to book for sure.

The Salcombe Yawl
Clifton Pl, SalcombeI really wanted a crab sandwich but at £13.50 pre-packaged from a hole in the wall establishment, it's just too much. What's the world coming to! So decided on the ham cheese and pickle toastie at £8.50. Not sure what I expected (breville style?) but it was scrumptious, huge chunks of good quality ham, melted cheese with an artisan pickle. Freshly made with lovely toasted bread..Very tough to eat as was going everywhere. Very very nice, would recommend. Well done guys.

Bo’s Beach Café
The old life boathouse, SalcombeWhat a fantastic find, and a view to die for!
Even on a wet rainy day it was just wonderful to have breakfast and coffee looking out over the beautiful beach and out to sea.
Reasonably priced breakfast menu mostly breakfast baps & nothing too pretentious. Great tasting coffee.
Parking may be an issue, we parked up near the national trust and walked down.
Dogs welcome.

The Pantry Coffee House
80 Fore St, SalcombePopped in here for some lunch, I'd had enough pastries so wanted something different. Opted for a tuna baguette and a flat white, the flat white was really good and came with a little shortbread biscuit and the baguette came with some crisps in a little box. We walked up and sat on a bench overlooking the sea. The only thing I'd of liked to be asked if I wanted salad as I picked it out. Thank you for a great standout lunch, it was delicious

Salcombe Coffee Company
73 Fore St, SalcombeExcellent coffee, food, and service by friendly, courteous staff.
I had the biggest bacon sandwich I have ever seen - the thickest, freshest crusty bread, more well cooked bacon than you can imagine, with lashings of brown sauce (the real one!)
Thoroughly recommended...

dickandwills
Fore St, SalcombeThis is a sensational restaurant with an Asian twist on seafood. Double patty burger ? is enormous, the king prawn aloo gobi curry amazing and the lemon sole fish and chips delicious. Amazing Harbour views but book ahead. Baffled by some poor reviews on here. Even gave me a cake on my birthday. The staff are more than polite and attentive.

South Sands, SalcombeDined here as non residents one evening. Allowed to use the car park as we had a reservation. Thoroughly enjoyed all meals and desserts ordered. Beautiful place and location with lovely staff. No strict dress code, just smart casual. Price didn’t feel overinflated considering the location.
