“The Lamb dish was delicious, as was the fish and chips. The garden spacious. The staff friendly and polite. The deserts were not as good as the main, portion of ice cream was small and not as advertised. We would definitely return for the main course, the service and the garden which were all great.”

“I needed a half-hour break and food in unfamiliar territory. Within that time, I was served and happily consumed perfect gammon, egg, chips, peas, and beer. Friendly, prompt service at great value, even though the tiny bar was very busy. I was offered a quieter area to eat in.”
