We ate here a couple of weeks ago as we had been before and have to say that the standard was way down on what it had been. I understand that the chef has left and Kathy is doing the cooking now herself, if I am honest I think she should concentrate on front fo house, as the food needs to improve.

Had a lovely meal here during bank holiday weekend, lots of lovely flavours, and delicious tapas, nothing was to much trouble from our wonderful host kathy, if your in this area this place is well worth a visit.

This is a cracking little place which deserves a lot of support. We visited on Jubilee Bank Holiday Friday and had the place to ourselves for over an hour. We chose six dishes and particularly enjoyed the garlic mushrooms, prawn selection, cod and prawn fish cakes and the homemade sauces were delicious. Each dish was really full of flavour and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Kathy really needs your support and this place needs to be high on your list if eating in Seaton.

Absolutely delicious food and Kathy was very welcoming. As you can see, empty dishes ?. Kathy was very accommodating and even gave us a dish to try. Garlic potatoes. These went down very well ?.

Fabulous! Having lived in the Canaries, but now in Seaton, we had high expectations, having never tried the Wild Caper before. The tapas food was outstanding, really tasty and well presented. We would happily recommend it. Wishing Kathy every success for the future. If you haven't tried the Wild Caper, you are missing out!

Kathy's take on tapas needs more than one visit to do her creative cookery justice. Three dishes per person is recommended for a meal but there's so much choice on the menu! Thank you.

I found this little tapas restaurant very friendly and welcoming. The food and service was first class.

Wonderful. A local restaurant that we’ve not been to before and we were daft for not trying sooner. Great food, personal service and reasonably priced for the quality. Like nothing we’ve been to before. Only slight improvement would be something to nibble before the main even arrives. We’ll be back

This place has had a couple of really poor reviews recently and Although I love tapas I arrived with low expectations.I shouldn't of worried.Service was friendly ,relaxed and attentive. The food was magnificent and my son and I were thoroughly impressed.Superb

Lamb tagine was superb. Slightly high prices are to be expected when the restaurant seats so few people, especially with social distancing. We enjoyed the overall experience.
