Truly excellent Indian food with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We are very sensitive to hot food and all too often Indian restaurants don't accommodate our need for absence of heat very well. Monsoon was an exception . Every dish we had was delicious and just to our liking. Would highly recommend for both dining in and takeout!

What a waste of money . Did not get what i ordered and the food was cold , the portions were poor and after a well earned treat working all over christmas and new year to spend £50 on a takeaway i feel very upset with what i recieved , as a local i will not recomend monsoon to anyone as it is quite clearly a total rip off and will stick to an reco.end the place i know best elsewhere . Not happy at all ...

Fantastic food. Friendly and helpful staff. We were a party of seven, including children, the water made sure they were served before the adults. Our first visit, but it won't be our last.

I ordered food for delivery at 730 to be delivered at 945. When 955 came around and I called them, he man who answered the phone told me that he couldn’t get ahold of the driver and if I could pick it up. I informed him that I was only visiting and didn’t have a car. Another hour passed and he called me back and told me that he still couldn’t get ahold of thriver and asked if could just heat food up in the microwave when I get it and he’d give me a discount on a later date since I had already paid. I again informed that that I don’t live here . So 1. I don’t have a microwave in my hotel. And 2. I will not be returning to the area. Not once was getting my money back ever an option. Finally at 11:15, I got a call saying my food was outside. The guy on the phone tried telling me the driver had been in an accident. Which, if he was, I hope he’s ok. But then why didn’t they just cancel my order and give me a refund? On top of that, my order was missing items.

When quiet, this is a good place to eat. If busy, you might get someone else's order! Nevertheless, the food is good and prices fair. Do take your own alcoholic beverage but soft drinks are available.

Had a delivery which arrived quickly and hot and driver was very polite and friendly hence the two stars but the food was awful my young daughters chicken korma tasted weird like no other korma I have tasted it was more green than the lovely creamy yellow korma we have had from other Indians\\nAnd the chicken tikka masala was like eating spicy tomato purée, and the naan bread was so tough it was like trying to eat chewy cardboard\\nNever again for us sadly,\\nI would avoid

Food was amazing but the service was strange to say the least. The server seemed to be really angry about something and it made us feel very uncomfortable from beginning to end. We made a quick exit immediately after finishing our food, just paid the bill while my wife waited outside. Food was outstanding though so it is a shame.

Very tasty curry, charming surroundings and friendly staff. Just remember that you have to bring your own booze.

Excellent dinner and service. Reccomended this restaurant by Dave the tour guide from Beer caves ;)\\nI ordered sobjee chicken and mushroom rice and shared a very tasty sag paneer, one of the best I've had for a long time. Highly recommended by my friends with me too. One restaurant to give a try when you're about and it's BYOB even better if you fancy a drink or two!

My wife and I ate at this restaurant last year and enjoyed our meal, we came down to holiday with some friends and ate there again , this time it was dreadful, chicken pakora overcooked and solid\\nPeshwari nan that was full of dried desiccated coconut no honey or fruit ,and a chicken shajani as my main . I’m sure a “chef” knows when a kitchen sends out sub standard food or perhaps they don’t.\\nWill not be returning and would not recommend.

Excellent food, but not value for money hence 3 stars. Food overpriced or portions are small (depending on how you view it). To add they made recommendations which only after getting the bill, also happened to be the expensive items.
