The woman in the shop was about as rude and dismissive as I've come across. I don't know if she was just having a bad day or what, but I'd suggest a different vocation that doesn't involve engaging with customers... We wandered further along and picked up a great pasty somewhere else.

Good bakery for locals and tourists! Friendly and helpful bakery staff. I enjoyed the tasty fresh baked bread and chocolate dipped shortbread. Noticed a good range of sausage rolls, filled baps and beautifully decorated cakes in store too. Many thanks!

Good value bread and pastry products of a high standard and fresh. Had breakfast items from here for several days while on holiday and all were excellent.

Very ordinary bakery. Bread fairly good but the so called Danish pastries (they're a long way from a proper Danish) are well overpriced at £1.60 Also, I've been short changed by £10. It's my own fault because I stupidly stepped out of the shop before checking my change. Upon re entering the shop I was met with a very brusque and rude lady who denied everything. It's my local bakery but I will never shop there again. And the message from everybody is SHOP LOCAL - I don't think so.
Popped in today to pick up some lunch for the beach but we were a little early " don't worry said the guy behind the counter what would you like, I'll make it up for you if you can wait a minute on the bench across the road" ( all the sandwiches are made fresh each day with all the love and care you would expect from a high end restaurant) sure not a problem (we had the New York deli style peppersl steak Gouda and accompaniments). He gave us a little wave, we received our sandwiches paid and left. Well I can only describe that sandwich as the perfect and best sandwich I have ever had I will certainly be recommended this place to everybody. An independent bakery run by fabulous people making the best food what more can you ask for

The bread and other produce is gorgeous but some of the staff are so so rude. Overheard one of them telling a customer how she choked and strangled a seagull because she found it in her chicken house.. customers really dont want to hear that. A smile wouldn't go amiss
